Well, in Whoville they say..... The Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day.



In honor of the Grinch who just so happens to star in my all time favorite holiday cartoon, I introduce the Grinchy Heart. Layers of white dot, lime chenille and red satin mixed with hand stitching create a one of a kind holiday tee.

Yes, I do know all of the words to the the song and right now it is even my ring tone. Obsessed maybe, but the story is a good one. After all, he realizes that Christmas doesn't come from a store. Maybe more people need to take a look at the Grinch for words of wisdom. Deep, I tell you, deep stuff!

This yummy pink pant set was created for baby Elizabeth in celebration of her 1st birthday.
Multicolored crystals and pink swirl stitching adorn a chocolate dot corduroy cake atop a bright cupcake paper. Coordinating pant ruffle in corduroy and pink and cream knit add that extra bit of yummy that every girl turning 1 needs.
Elizabeth is planning on having a cupcake bar at her party.

Whooooo Whooooo is the most precious and yummy baby ever???
Mine of course, but now that she is older
{and a bit more sassy at times} I'll go with baby Haydn. She is quite possibly one of the sweetest babies I've ever been around.
Perhaps I'm partial. After all she is the munchkin of one of my best friends who just so happens to be the other half of the two hip moms of Ovilove.
Haydn's mom.... well she is the brains and I'm the brawn. What is that song? "I've got the brains you've got the looks, lets make lots of money...." Only better because we both have the looks....giggle, giggle....snort. Just teasing!!
Without her I really would be lost with this whole thing. She truly is a creative souls' compass. She keeps me on track when I have an artsy moment........and believe me I have LOTS of those. :)

I just love owls and when I was asked to make a pant set for precious Haydn I knew an owl would be perfect. I decided on making one in pink and one in blue.
A girl has got to have options, right? Haydn decided on Pink since she just looks so good in that color.

By the looks of that smile OWL be willing to bet that Haydn loves owls as much as I do.

Halloween Split Tanks

What is a Split Tank???? Kind of a funny story that all starts with one little word, VEST. I have to admit that I hate the word "vest". Too many flashbacks to the early 90's. Together, my friend and I went on a verbal quest to find the best descriptor for this cutie. We kicked around several words... embarrassing as it may be to admit....(gasp) duster even came up. Oh my gosh!!!! DUSTER????? Unwilling to settle and for lack of better words, this is a SPLIT TANK...we are still looking for something to call it. (If you come up with something and we like it, you could win one of these lovelies...just leave a comment.) No matter what you choose to call it though this is a super cute alternative to a shirt. Adorable over a long or short sleeved T-shirt this design is great for Southern Octobers. You never know if you will find yourself Trick or Treating in shorts or a winter coat. Layers is the way to go! I'll get you my Pretty has a hand drawn witch boot and layers of satin and chenille. Both Trick or Treat and I'll get you my Pretty are topped off with bunches of sassy ruffle layers and hand stitched lettering.
